Playa de Butihondo, Fuerteventura - Unofficial Nude Beach

Playa de Butihondo is at the southern end of an expanse of white sandy beaches which run along the eastern edge of Fuerteventura's Jandia peninsula. It's also within easy walking distance of the small town of Jandia, although you may have to walk northeastwards for several hundred metres before the beach becomes 'clothing optional'. If you continue north, you will eventually reach Playa de Sotavento de Jandia.

PLAYA DE BUTIHONDO NUDE BEACH REPORTS:

1. We spent a wonderful fortnight here in September 2005, having our first nude beach experience. The beach is lovely and you can walk naked for miles - nudity is totally accepted. Adjoining hotels have nude areas and pools - for most of the day we wore no clothes at all and came home with superb all-over tans. The beach is part of a 22km long stretch of sandy coastline along all of which no clothing need be worn. - Ann and John (March 2006)
